The Xfiles

NB this is not here as an artistic statement, please see my article "The Loch Ness Monster" for an explanation as to why it is.

They are slices from 3 images taken last weekend. They were all taken using ISO100 and f20. The following data corresponds to the slices as shown top down. Time taken is relative to the first shot @ time "t".

1/60, 37mm, time taken:t 1/60, 47mm, time taken:t+12seconds 1/50, 52mm, time taken:t+25seconds

I've done nothing to them other than extract the slices and resize them collectively. Sorry I haven't included the whole images, but I been constrained by the 2 files/24hr rule.

Oh, I should say the top slice has no aberrations* that I've noticed, I've only included it for comparison with the second slice as they're almost the same view just using differing focal lengths.

If by any chance anybody is interested, I can send them further info.

  • (Forgive me if that's not the right word, but I've just checked in the dictionary and I can't find it I hope nobody's using me for an English lesson :0) )!
