John Stankewitz - Panhandle Windstorm
This was an overnight trip I took to Turkey, TX from Arlington to document some roadside rural attractions. After a couple of hours on the road the winds started to pick up dramatically and for the next couple of days gusted to near sixty MPH. These are the same winds that helped some small fires burn over 700,000 acres of land in the Texas panhandle and Oklahoma. The winds were very hard to work in. Some of them really show how powerful the wind was!
