Taken at the Home Depot Criterium in Dominguez Hills, California. I put this in the Documentary category because there is no Sports category. This is my first post to this web site.

I stood on an embankment overlooking a high speed corner (30+ MPH). The sun was getting low as this was the last race of the day.

Not too much post processing in Photoshop CS. A small amount of levels and a small amount of unsharp mask.

Shot in RAW format, CS2, and sharpness +2.

Speed Through a Fence

Took this shot from a grandstand on the front straightaway. First time shooting fast cars with the E-1. Shot as JPEG with actual focal length of 224mm (equiv. 448mm). Handheld pan with car at estimated 140 MPH. No cropping, a little levels and a little USM. Camera set to +3 sharpening and CS2 -- everything else off or set to 0.
