Great! Any closer and he would have pecked your lens. Ouch. The eyes are great. Very good portrait shot but have to deduct one for the clipped ear.

Beautiful detail

One question: did you "feather" (no pun intended) around the head when doing something in post production? There seems to be a glimmer of border around the ears that makes me wonder.

Interesting expression. It almost looks bored. Is the background out of focus as a result of photoshop? The glow at the edhge looks a litlle unnatural.
