I like the blurry cars – adds to the impression of a busy shopping and dining street and it’s also good that you’ve got that woman in the picture (with her head scarf). I think I know what you saw at this scene, because I’ve seen similar scenes in Cairo and several Asian countries (busy street, mixture of run down/traditional buildings, people in non-Western clothes and neon signs for KFC – could have been Starbuck’s, Whimpy, McDonald’s and other large, mostly American, chains etc). But I don’t really think this picture works – the non-Western/non-American elements are not clear/visible enough and because of that the picture could have been from anywhere (including from the USA I perhaps).
