Excellent, Don! An obvious proof of the lens and photographer's combination. Well done!

tight head shot, looks like a 200mm shot, like your kind of leaning on the guys table or what ?

thanks all for the comments

Clayton, I sat next to him and after some chit chat i took this shot from the waist using the flip up LCD ... one of the better use of that LCD or 90 degree EVF on the EP3 ... would be very hard with fixed OVF imho ;-)

Do you use the touch/shoot feature Don? I haven't made my mind up about it yet.

Mike Leadbetter ¤1 at 06:29 EDT on 2012-Aug-10 [Reply]

Mike

Actually not for I don't even remember it's even there ...it's a novel concept for me after using the trigger for more than 30 years ;-)

Very stylish, reminds me of Marvin Gaye for some reason.

Interesting...

Looking at this in context (meaning viewing in the opening page slide show), it's interesting how the eye is drawn to the subject - it has a certain amount of intensity you don't ordinarily see in a candid portrait. You hardly even notice the little touches like the edge antiquing, color shift and such.

Hell of an image - still at the top of your game. Well done.
