I could count to eleven eleven times in the time it took this to load. The two empty pilings, wonder why? The light is kind of soft, same sort of light I have here today, filtered sun.

i like the pelicans ' line up; I'd have shot up from below to avoid the busyness in the background ... cheers ;-)

Charles, it took me quite a bit of time to work my way close to the pelicans. After several shots, I backed off, and two more landed. Then I got greedy and tried for a real close-up and they all decided to take a swim. That's what happens when you don't leave well enough alone. :-)

The light was filtered by high clouds, Clay. It was also after 6:00PM so the light was soft and a bit warm. I altered the temp a bit in the PP and I might have gone too far making it cooler. :-)

Thanks for the suggestion, DV. It was pretty cramped on the narrow pier and I considered a low POV, but still couldn't get the booms of the fishing boats out of the frame, so I kept the "normal" - and even though busy. it does convey the idea of fishing - boats & birds. :-))
