The infamous "Ambassador" car that still serves as a staple vehicle of status to those of past generations. The gear shifter was actually designed to be grouped with the wind shield wiper/turn signal adjacent to the steering wheel. In the background, Chamraj Tea Factory and their esteemed sign to the skies above. Chamraj Tea Inc. is the largest and most prestigious, India-based tea supplier to many popular brands such as Tazo and Bigelow. Their tea fields, located in in the Blue Nilgiris Mountains of Ooty, are rather breathtaking. This image was created using an HDR technique with 5 frames, bracketing the shutter speed from 1/125- to 1/320

Retro is In

Thanks, Mike! It's not everyday you get to see let alone ride in one of these classics. I had the driver come up the hill to frame the composition with the Tea Factory in the background. I was worried that the HDR approach wouldn't work since I didn't have my remote release cable, but it all worked out just fine :)
