2012 Calendar Ready & Donation Drive

This year's beautiful calendar is finally ready to ship! We can confirm we have received the calendars and they look fantastic as usual thanks to the talent of the membership and quality we now expect to get from CafePress. Thanks to everyone for participating and voting in the 8th annual MFT calendar. This has been quite the long standing tradition, and as per usual, we look forward to looking at ours every day of the upcoming calendar year. :-)

Before you proceed to purchase the calendar for yourself and/or your loved ones, we'd like to take this moment to ask everyone to consider making a donation to MFT. It's been a while since we've done a donation drive and generating revenue to stay afloat hasn't been easy at all throughout 2011.

We are aiming to raise $1500 USD to assist with part of the base operating costs throughout the 2012 calendar year. We would like to think this is an achievable goal for this year's donation drive.

As such we want to provide some incentive. If we meet the goal of $1500 USD raised before the end of 2011, then we'll do a draw for an older E-series (barely used) Four Thirds camera. Yes it might not be the latest or greatest, but it would certainly make for a nice gift or your own personal beater. :-)

2012 calendar

I received my calendars last week and they were great looking calendars, printed on good quality papers and arraged nicely according to the months of the year with the appropriate image. Thank you Alan and Mario for a great job with it. They do make great gifts for the Holidays Cheers!

First of all, we'd like to thank everyone who contributed to the donation drive we started back in December. When anyone reaches into their pockets to give, we're extremely grateful...it's especially not easy this time of year. Thank you so much!

As for the drive, we'd like to continue having it active, well, because we didn't remotely reach our target. Perhaps our goal was lofty for the giveaway but it's really the bare minimum we require to keep the site minimally operational.
