Fort Lawton the parade ground.
Here is an old satellite map of the fort in a different state of decay:

one wonders where this trails leads to? after a few years maybe it'll be buried under the tall grass?

DV, I guessing the function of the paved walkway was to allow the senior officers to get parade ground's review platform without walking through the wet grass. The platform has been removed recently but the walkway remains.
