I drive by a house that is was in much worse condition that that all the time. I figured it was going to be dozed and a new house built but some never-say-die folks bought it and fixed it up. An impossible task, but they did it. The yard work is a little over due also, when the trees start embracing the roof and walls it is time trim.

This must have been a great house in it's time. Sad to see it like this. I think you picked the right angle for the shot, but a few steps back, so you don't loose that last part of the roof, might have improved the frame.

Thanks for commenting Jimmy... I actually have the shot your suggesting.. I went with this one because of all the bushes growing around the house and the bland sky, plus I wanted to clearly show the moss growing on the wood shingles.. Bob

Now you have mentioned it, I see that the sky indeed is quite bland. But I did notice the moss before and I like it. If those were the reasons, you made the right call.

I was going to put a sky in the image but I'm one who likes to show the image (almost) as shot... I do try and capture the image in the camera... going back to my film days...
