I came upon this pond just as it was starting to rain.

Lovely scene, the rain drops are a nice addition but not so much for you.

Charles, it's really hard to run with one hand holding a camera tucked under your shirt. I got soaked, but at least the photo was worth it. (I never seem to have an umbrella when I need one.) :-)

Nice scene Doug. I usually put my camera back in my bag as soon as the first rain drop falls. I hope your's didn't get wet.

A rainy day brings out so much beauty especially in color and texture. The raindrops on the lake are the perfect addition to the scene. I love that little leaf waving hello in the upper left. This was well worth getting wet for.

Thanks Jimmy. The camera did get a little wet, but still seems to be working OK. When everything rusts up in 6 months, I'll know it got too wet :-))

Thanks for the comment Marianne. I agree - once the rain begins the mood and colors change. In this case, all was well for the first 10 or 15 seconds, then the light rain turned into a downpour and I had to run for it. (it was worth it though) :-)
