Jeremy, I love the pristine water and diagonal hill across the photo. I have a feeling this is one of those photos that the 300KB size limitation doesn't do justice. I feel like I want to take a magnifying glass and look all around the rocks, scrub and little trails. What a view if you had a house on that hill! ;- )

I agree with Doug--I'd like to see this larger! I admit I bypassed the thumbnail a couple of times, but I'm so glad I looked at the larger image.

What jumps out at me are the amazing textures. I feel as if I can almost reach out and tough the tufts of grass and the dimpled water. I also love the delicate quality of light, especially the bright diffuse light in the upper left corner and the way it fades almost to pure white. The scattered rocks and the patterns in the grass are other details I would never have appreciated in a smaller version. My favorite little detail is that small tuft near the RH side that is barely catching the low-angled light.

Elisabeth. Thank you for taking the time to comment on this one. I was beginning to think people didn't like it. I'm glad you mentioned the fading into white at the top left corner. That is one of the things I like about this image

Doug. Thank you very much for the nice comment. I don't think there are any houses up there (thankfully) but there is farmland, which is accessible to the public
