Barley is so photogenic but the intrusive poppies make it very special here. I do hope you have more.

Yes I agree with Chris here. Wonderful image. The reds and green work so well together. A minor point - I wish that the 'weed' in the middle of the image near those three poppies wasn't there as it sort of breaks the ambient symmetry of the image a bit but that is nature's work I guess. Nonetheless, a very well seen and presented image.

I like how it appears the barley is blowing in the wind and yet the poppies are tack sharp. Excellent processing. I do agree with Eugene about the dead center weed - but that's nit picking. A beautiful image overall. Regards

as above. The greens are simply great. The treatment is very special.

This is excellent Horst but I think that Eugene has a good point. Maybe if it were slightly to one side a bit more. The sense of movement is fabulous, almost liquid.

Lovely...

Horst, I really like the whole image, the smooth tops of the grain really look almost fluid and the poppies ould be floating on the current....:o)

Hmmm.... I have to agree with Eugene re: the center weed..maybe I wouldn't have noticed it if he wouldn't have mentioned it, but now it bugs me! LOL!

Yes ...

I have, Chris, but am always afraid to post a cliché. But perhaps this is already one? Thanks for your support, I“ll try to post one too.

You are right ...

Eugene, haven“t seen it before. But as you mentioned it ... Perhaps in a next version I could clone it away. But glad you like it per se. Thanks for commenting.

Thank you very much, Monica ...

for taking time and commenting. When it comes to flowers, you are the master. So I“m really flattered by your comment. And the weed bugs me too, since Eugene mentioned it (grin).

Painting...

Been away for a time, its nice to see some things don't change here, like the quality of your work. Great capture, almost paint like... the way you manage to view these flowers is almost animal in a sense. They look like insects (buterflies) caught in flight. Good compo with all the usual good choice of color. Really painting with light. Regards.
