I thought
something similar to Robert. I find the background detail a bit detracting from the main subject. I think it unlikely that you could get her to perform for you against a plain background! I am surprised that with that lens you were not able to throw the bg more out of focus using the DoF. However now you have this image a bit of work in PS with layers and Gaussian Blur could allow the eye to concentrate more on the form of the gymnast.
