just tried to reproduce some old photos with my E-1. this picture was originally taken in the late seventies of the last millenium ;) with my beloved OM-1 and the zuiko 1.8/50. used film was Ilford HP 5 400 ASA also developed to 400 ASA. the print is on 24x30cm Ilfospeed glossy, gradation 4. i love these gradation till nower days. i reproduce it in daylight (today its not very bright). it was not easy cause of the glossy surface of the original print. if i compare the original with the reproduction i can say its ok (the lights were overexposed on both). it was just an experiment and i m pleased of the result. so long michel

Hi Michael
I missed this when you put it up and just spotted it on the random image. Its brilliant! A fantastic b/w portrait. The light and shadow are exquisite and the smoke from the cigarette really adds a nice touch. Well done!
