very deep red. I would crop the surrounding and leave the heart of the rose.

This looks rather delicious. The rose markets itself magnificently to pollinators. It is sometimes very difficult to adequately capture red details with the E300/E500 CCD, and you have done a fine job of producing an image with a satisfying degree of luminance variation. Well done.

Amazing red! Aren't there such incredibly saturated colours in nature? I like being able to see some of the "veins" in the petals too.
