fantastic. I have never used a manual lens on my E-400, I anticipate the camera still provides light metering info accurately, but with out a proper focusing screen like on the old om cameras... is it just guess work by eye or does the little dot appear when the image is focused?

Fantastic!
I'm drooling over the results of this lens...a much faster lens in on my never satisfied wish list. Dof is excellent-do you find that it's hard to get the focus in just the right place with such a narrow focal range?
BTW...the model isn't half bad, either--nice eyes!! :o)

lighting direction is good, main to fill ratio is too high, a reflector would help, you don't need a second strobe. DOF is very shallow, eye on the dark side is in focus the other eye is soft, just a little.

It's nice to hear such positive feedbacks from you guys ;) I just love this old lense and it's really a joy to play with it. It's not so difficult to fokus with it - I just use a tripod and a rotated LCD screen with 5-7x magnification. I wish you a good light and thank you all ... Regards
