Thank you George! I am not sure of your question about the perspective. I just found the spot to shoot the locomotive, which was on a straight rail with a side rail splitting to one side.

Hi, Edwin. Glad to see this image on the HCI. A lovely B/W that hits all the right buttons for me. I like the conversion/range of tones very much. What I like best, though, is the sense of size/power/noise of the train rolling past from such a seemingly-close vantage point. Oh, and of course the nearly hidden figure in the clouds of steam--very nice!
