Good one Horst. You are continuing to make your mark with these abandoned series. This one works great. The colours are stunning and the image really pops. The sails of Sailing ships come to mind in an abstract kind of way.

i enjoy the shades here and the colors; i'm sure they're more vibrant than in real life ;_))

I was really taken by surprise how this popped out of the thumbnail.
It doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the series, though I don't know that I've actually seen it all, but wow do I love it!
The skilful framing, the excellent exposure, the effect of the backlighting (and probably a deft touch of pp work) on the colours and texture of the shades is very pleasing indeed.

An astonishing effect. This really leaps from the screen. Good composition and I love the shadows behind the cloth canopies. Great colours and altogether excellent.

Thank you so much ...
Eugene, dee, Chris, Igor and adrian for your nice words and generous ratings. I feel flattered by this.
All your remarks about this image / composition / colors I too see here. Yes, the colors might be a bit more vibrant then in real life, dee. No, it doesnīt fit in with the series "Lost Rooms", Chris, though it is also taken from an abandoned construction. So I named it not like the others.
Glad you all like this image, best wishes,

The thumbnail really jumps off the screen. In the large version the colors a bit too strong for my taste but I really admire how skillfully you have composed this with the the lines using the diagonals to the cornes totally natural.

Great colours.... when I looked at the thumbprint I was thinking a canopy over tables or party area... looks to be in too good of condition for abandoned..
