Miller's Point
Just got back from trip to Zion NP, Bryce Canyon, Moab Utah and Mono Lake. This is the purgola at Miller's Point which is in Nevada and is a mini version of Bryce Canyon. Be kind, I don't do B/W very well.

Very gorgeous view Jeff, i like it, clouds seem to be with no air around them, almost space view ...
best wishes

Whatever you did with the conversion, it certainly has a dramatic special effect. ;)

Beautiful conversion Jeff. Got to love that "red filter" sky visual, theres a interesting 3d effect on this one. Interesting place...

Looks ...
rather similar to an infrared image, Jeff, and I like this dramatic look.
Best wishes,

An astonishing sky which gives a real alien look to this landscape. Did you use a filter for this? I really like it.

Thank you everyone.
Adrian, I used a circular polarizer. I always do for shots of blue skies and clouds. It adds much more depth to the clouds, almost 3D. Shooting at right angles to the sun is best also. If shooting directly into the sun or with it at your back as in sunrise/sunset shots, it is ineffective and should be taken off the lens.

Thanks Prem. I used a circular polarizer which made the sky a deep blue and really made the clouds pop. Then I believe I used the Black & White tool in PS and tweaking some of the sliders.
