Excellent b&w, I know the bridge by photos but I never saw the detail of so many wires.

This has always been my favorite bridge
and after all this time I finally got around to taking a few photographs of it. Of all my takes, this one inspired me because it showed the cables the best and with the conversion I wanted to bring that out even more. In hindsight I'm just wondering if I should have worked it differently because it looks very dark.
Felix, dee vee, George..thank you for stopping by and commenting. It was all about those wires and I'm glad you noticed.

Thank you Dorothee
for your time to comment and critique. I tried the auto levels and it does make a big difference. It still gives me what I was after without looking as dark and onimous as my posting. Rather than post a quick fix I want to spend some time and re-work this from scratch. As for the clutter of wires on the left, it was was what I was after. The problem with this bridge is that it's been photographed from every angle imaginable and I was looking for something different. I do like your suggestion of compo though, eliminating the left 1/3 altogether. Thank you very much for your critique and suggestions. I wish I got these more often.

A very good ...
motive for a B+W. Well seen and presented, Marianne.
