A very interesting and well conceive photo! I would only sugest a different angle, this one feels strange... can't explain, maybe its the shadows on the left. Best regards.

I love the idea of this one, and agree that the execution is really nice. I'm bothered a tiny bit by the same thing that Joao mentions--something to do with the apparent angle or the lighting, but it sort of adds to the unsettled feeling so maybe that's okay. One other little thing: the bottom part of the hair (nearest the lower edge of the photo) seems slightly grey and blurred for some reason--maybe I'm just seeing things? Anyway, I really, really like the concept and the overal look of this one; I could easily see this as the book jacket of a sci fi thriller!

Nice concept. If I can add to Joao and Elisabeth, I think it feels weird because of the upside down angle, maybe doing a 180 around the clock may change that. Then again, this could be what you were going for. The writing on the body is very well done.

I agree with Elisabeth on the grey hair point which looks a little odd unless she really did have a multi-toned hairdo! I think the strangeness of the lighting comes from the PP vignette. The shadow cast on the model does not match the effect of the vignette which forces the eye to think of a top down spot light IMO. I would suggest reducing the vignette opacity a bit or dropping it altogether. That said I like the concept of this image and the execution is very good.

Does this image really need the heavy vignetting to enhance the tattooed nude and doll? I personally don't think it does, and without the heavy processing this image would be stronger I believe. Interesting idea for an image.

Think ...

she must take care of the Blade Runner. Like the idea. Perhaps you could have tattooed the doll too?

Best wishes,

Thanks for all Your comments - I really appreciate this kind of constructive criticism!!!

You are right with the hairs. I did mess around with the mask a little bit. Time for a redo.

The image should cause some inconveniant and wierd feelings. The vignette should emphasise the model and calm down the restless backdrop. I will redo the effect as well.

Thanks again for the nice comments!
