Ai Weiwei, Template. Wooden doors and windows from destroyed Ming and Qing Dynasty houses. Wooden base.

The Template has been rised up correctly, but has been also destroyed by a strong storm. The artist decided to let it be as it lay down there. Taken through a plexiglass wall to enhance the feeling of destruction.

Knowing your skills, I am sure this image is exactly how you want it to be seen. However, for me the whole picture looks slightly out of focus. I wish some part appeared sharp. Hope you don't mind my impression here Horst.

Interesting shapes and colors, but too abstract for my taste. I can't really tell what it is, or am I not supposed to tell?

Thank you ...

E. Edwin and Chris for your thoughtful comments.

And you two are right. Of cos this picture is as I want to be seen (thx for the "skills", E.Edwin :-)) And due to the plexiglass wall, there is no chance to show any detail sharp, sorry. So it becomes clear to me, that this picture is perhaps only understandable for visitors, who have seen the original (which is in my mind, of cos). Perhaps a mistake of a bloody beginner?

Comments, who are trying to get to the bottom of a picture are most interesting and helpful, and much appreciated. So many thanks again, best wishes,

Actually I love this Horst. For me it a piece of art and doesn't need to be clear. I love the verticals and I also love the horizontal layers, particularly the green at the bottom. Regards, Jeremy

Thank you ...

Jeremy. Perhaps a so called and normally seldon "semi abstract"? Glad you like it.

Best wishes,
