Haven't done one of these in a while.

My hat is off to Duane Michals for initially incorporating fine photographic art with text. Thanks Duane!

Yes, I know...

I love the work of duane, and he is one of my favourite photographers, but i think your work is original and only the relation of the text might be a link or reference but only that. Really like this one, you've got a very keen eye and a very creative way of showing us your view of the world, and the series certainly gives us that. Great work Edwin, Best wishes.

E. - I like this image very much. There is a true sense of whimsy combined with a seriously good quality image. The juxtaposition made me stop and stare a while.

Whimsy is a very good way to describe this and many in this series. :-) Thank you very much Blair.

Henri-esque

The words of the Haiku work very well for me, visually, in this format Edwin: sitting outside the picture proper and being unconstrained by an MFT border (as in the old site layout). I love the hands (particularly top left as she waves back to you) and the leg. They appear like lightning bolts from a cloud of bubbles (with some imagination). A moment well captured and I can't deny that this looks Cartier-Bressonesque. Great shot.

Wow, Thank You Rob!

I am so pleased that you appreciate this as presented Rob. I ran into the street and followed her for about a block in the parade trying to find the right moment and background for this image. Yes indeed, it is about finding the critical moment in images like this and your words resonate nicely, and the complement is much appreciated. Thanks again.

Hmm, Dorothee sees sushi and I see grapes.

I like this one a lot The balloons are just wonderful in all their minute detail and ever so cheerful. Let me guess, yellow? I too like how you caught that triangular shape from the hand movement to the movement of the leg. Can't help but wonder where that little dog fits in.

Yeah Marianne!

The balloons were green actually. She was supposed to be a bunch of green grapes. As to the dog, everyone had a dog at the parade.

Thanks for the comment and the viewing.
