Adrian, I had to clone out the mini-bus roof and a roof rack but hopefully one can't see the join.

The original is at http://www.myfourthirds.com/document.php?id=34797

A touch of extra contrast. What do you think?

Well done Martin. I love this one and prefer it to the other one cos of the crop and also the differnt processing that you have used. Nice work.

Cropping out building might lose the symmetry. Removing them should be easy since the bus roof is gone.

I commented on the other, too. These are both interesting shots but I like it better with the incongruity the cars brought to the other version. The extra contrast is a minor improvement.

As you said for the earlier one, " the cars gave a solid base." I prefer that one. Just my humble opinion.

I would like to thank you all for sharing your reactions to this picture. Eugene thank you for your generous score. I find it sometimes very difficult to analyze what it is that doesn't work in particular shots. Ferd, I remembered your shot "Wall 09 " perhaps this influenced my decision to crop just below the tops of the cars. As I was impressed by the "rooting" quality of just showing the smallest portion of a cars. I have, since your suggestion, cloned out the houses and now feel they were the cause of the conflict I felt rather than the cars. Many thanks for your thoughts. (I have also posted this reply on the first shot). I think I now fall into the with cars but no houses camp but I will live with it a bit and see what happens later.
