Next time you go to a cafe look around and observe the people; it's quite interesting to see what kind of things people do there (this one's at Starbucks in the City) ...Cheers ;-))

I like the feel of this very much, dee vee. Conversion is yummy and I like the way you make the viewer feel like a fly on the wall. The tilt leaves me feeling somewhat off-balance, but it seems to go with the shot somehow. I might not like it so much if it weren't skewed a bit. Perhaps it has something to do with the social commentary or the wry humor of this? (I always think of cafes as places to meet and mingle, and it seems more and more as if they are places to sit alone with a cup of coffee and perhaps to converse on a cell phone--lots of people but each in their own little world.) Anyway, I like this one a lot.

A great "slice of life" scene. Most enjoyable and a keeper in my book.

Can tell by the cup on the table this guy needs the big shot of java. Now we need to get Starbucks to put up fouir thirds art instead. Think of your soft water shots up there instead.

You've fitted...

...EVERYTHING in this shot to show it is indeed a cafe.

Obviously the coffee machine and the cup, but also the picture on the wall showing the modernes look of the place, and yes almost everyone has a cell phone.

You could go into a cafe and there would be a group of people together but they will still all be texting or phoning other people :-) as there are two coats on the stools this shows this very well.

Great shot a 10 from me.

I'm much to shy to take a shot like this but always enjoy viewing them. This to me represents a slice of life and a sign of the times, Starbucks and cell phone user. I personally don't care for their coffee. Can't add much to what's already been said except that I like this one a lot.
