very interesting compo w that empty ample space in the FG but yet the eyes would focus right on the BG layer ... the FG was so eerily quiet i was expecting a big splash any moment ...;-))

Great! Nice muted colour and lovely composition as well.

Detailed Help and Encouragement? Okay. First of all you are in violation of the rule of thirds. In fact, you appeared to have seriously injured the rule of thirds. Good for you! I hate rules.

The title? How could anybody possibly equate a bunch of birds next to the shore with a bus stop? But the title fits! It works! It adds a mild element of humor. They look like young seagulls on the way to school.

You have taken an ordinary scene, gulls on the beach, something I have been convicted of so many times that they are about to suspend my license to take pictures. But with the lighting here, and the beautiful duo-tonal range, this picture is fragrant with mood and mellow to look at.

Keep this up and you will be expelled from the Flat Earth Society. Thank you for the Detailed Help and Encouragement. I am always looking for new ways to break rules and you have given me some excellent ideas.

Welcome to my world folks. Winter is gray and muted. Ice or snow and gray clouds are king. They rule January in this neck of the woods. This day, the sun popped out just before dropping below the horizon. It hit the birds for a moment or two. The fg here is ice, reflecting the grey clouds above.

Thank you for the details in what you see and how you see it dee vee. A splash would be great, but I donít know off hand of any ice breaking fish. ; )

Thank you for your kind comments Eugene.

This IS your fault Insegredious I would have passed by these seagulls with out blinking and eye if I had not been introduced to them by you. I donít know who the photographic police on the beach are, but I have it from a higher authority that you are allowed and even encouraged to take as many pictures of seagulls as you wish. No licenses being revoked here, (or there.) You comments are always a pleasure to read. In this case more colorful than my image. Thank you for your detailed help and encouragement.
