Uuuh - liked this! Very well composed, and the detail with just capturing the whole of the trunk to the right, ensures perfect harmony and balance in the composistion. The heavy backlight forces you to overexpose a bit, which maybe emphasises the flare on the low breast and legs on the bear. And unfortenately the bears nose ends just at the outline of the stone behind it. It had been better if the nose had been 2" further ahead, enhancing its profile. I especially like the spring colours, so warm and vivid. Immaculate sharpness too. Overall a very pleasant fauna picture indeed! :-)

Bernhard, I am not sure I would have been able to hold the camera this still. Well done and I think erik's comments are spot-on. You could try to reduse the flare with levels or curves. Anyway a great picture I would have loved to make.
