im a backpacker, i love photos like this, on thing is it could use some cropping to get rid of the bright leaves on the left edge... it is a wonderful shot, i like how you used the fill flash to expose the leaves...

Light makes for great depth
I really like how you with the help of the flash has made the forground light and every level of land gets darker the further away it is. It makes the feeling of depth in the picture. But of course, you should have cropped or "cloned" away the light.leaves on the left side of your picture.
