I agree with DeeVee "BW conversion is a science for you, no longer an art". A small suggestion on this image would be to crop the foreground to get rid of the object on the right and the low wall.

I like the comp as is, Denis.

The clod lines lead to the umpbrella, and the rock, bu its position, coompletes the triangle. I like the sky and the light on the water. Regards.

Thank you Horst and Rob...

no secrets at all...it is lot easy to made a conversion when the light is good...i just struggling with some that i shot few days ago in a very low light condition and almost in dark...and didnt manage to get anything that will look like decent conversion... a bunch of layers and still dont get it...
