Stairs and sky
Hey Eugene, I am next to you again! The title is a bit lame... Any suggestion? I like this photo... but do you find the light to be a bit harsh?

Good point
Thanks dee vee and Doro. Doro, I actually have a shot of the stairs with the right side only :) , so I kind of know what you mean. Thanks for checking!

Very well done ...
Lewis. Like the compo as the treatment. Could think about straighten the verticals (they are here IMHO no key element and the compo would be a bit more stronger). And I would have killed that bicycle (upper LHS). Unlike Doro I canīt imagine two pictures here. For me it is by all means homogeneous (sorry Doro :-))
Best wishes,

Thanks Horst. Believe it or not, I have straightened it already, but didn't want to overdo it. I've tried the level of doing so and I found that if I did more the lamp would no longer look round. If only I had a super wide angle lens! Thanks.

Bike and trash
And yes. I wish I could remove the trash can and the bicycle. I just couldn't. And the paper thing on one of the poles too. Fortunately, in B&W they don't look as obnoxious.
Removing objects skillfully with photoshop isn't my strength yet...

Hey Lewis! I had myself convinced I had commented on this and then I looked again! Howdy neighbour! I very much like this as it is. The light is great and the conversion even better. I can see why you woul;dnt want to straighten it any further - good decision. I think it's rather good as is mtself. A name? Well, we wont go to stairway etc etc. Bot of a yawn now isn't it? What about "(It's) Lonely At The Top"? I like the biks inclusion btw. Good one.
