I was a bit disappointed in this when I opened it up because I thought the thumb looked brilliant. Perhaps if you repost it a little smaller people like myself (I think my monitor's only 17") will find it easier to view and give it a considered asessment.

Sorry about that , will repost tomorrow at 800x600. I run 19 inch monitors and forget that other people do run 17's

Alan, you could repost now using the edit feature. Just substitute the newly sized image.

This is

almost surreal in its beauty.

You are not making adverts for Big M are you?

The site limit used to be 900 pixels, which in 4/3 country, gave 900*675. The limit was raised to 1200 pixels in order to give those doing panoramas a better opportunity to show off their work.

Alan,

What a great Photograph of Thunder Bay. Although I'm not a huge fan of "Mickey D's" I feel it adds a fantastic spash of colour to your monochrome image.

Great job. T

Um, I hate McDonalds, but this picture is pretty good, so I'll forgive you ;-)

Lovely colours, but there is a bit of noise visible in the shadow areas, which for me detracts a little. And being really picky, if you'd moved a bit to the right you could have separated the lamp post from the building....

Yeah i know, that is being very picky....

cheers

Andy

This is really neat Alan!

I honestly have never seen Mcdonalds look so lovely. The sky and FG treatment are really great. Perfect time of day! I could not have made this work. Well done. -JP
