Beautiful bird, Hoi-Hong. You caught it in a pose worthy of Audobon, and I think the DOF with combination of browns and greens is very nice as well. Looks like excellent focus on the eye.
We have a bit different variety of laughing thrush here in Japan and I haven't caught any with my 50-200 yet, though I did post one last year taken with the Sigma 55-200:

It is an unusal bird indeed. I have only one shot taken during that period of time as it is moving up and down, left and right. fortunantely, it is a perfectly exposed and focued shot, I think. This bird can be found in thickets, forest undergrowth and secondary growth. Originally from Himalayas, Assam, Burma, Thailand, Yunnan, Indochina and Sumatra and feeds on insects and fruits. Cheers,
