Forgot to mention that a tripod wasn't used? If this was the case, I'm really impressed w the sharpness in this light; I could never be this steady; youth (big assumption from your avatar) has its advantages ;-))

This is facinating, everywhere one looks there is interest. I like the way the haze is brought out below the level of the lights. Taking the photo from higher ground really adds interest in looking down on yard in the distance. Including the area to the right with the lights at the higher level also adds interest and complexity. Good work!

I'm glad I'm not the only one with trembling hands ;-)) ... but 35 is still a lot of youth as far as I'm concerned ....keep up the good work, they've been great ...;-))

Definetely amazing, absolutely mysterious! Perfect colors and atmopsphere with a nice and uniform sharpness and focus.

Best night picture I’ve seen in a long, long time. I just love the colours, how soft it looks (and quiet), all those lamp posts and containers (the colours on them do at lot for this picture). Yes - good title. :-)

Ich habe seit 2 Wochen einen neuen PC und die Bilder sind alle noch auf meinem alten Rechner (an den ich im Moment nicht herankomme ;-)) Auf jeden Fall ist das Bild hier KEIN DRI, habe es nur ein wenig aufgehellt und nach dem Verkleinern (leicht) nachgeschärft, sonst nix! Eugene: Karin said no DRI but a slight shadow/highlight correction and USM after resizing. she will add the EXIFs later...

Wow, what a great image! Capturing the mood of an industrial rail yard at night, in natural color, is not an easy subject. I would be interested in seeing some EXIF info. How hard did you have to work to get the white balance correct? Well done.

very good shot! Like the lights covering the whole scene. The picture has something mytical and the title fits well, framing is matter of taste, a bit too large for my taste.

Perfect light, huge amount of detail. Technically I'd say that this is the best E-system photo I've seen (edited with care!).
