This is a photograph of Kingfisher Tower on Otsego Lake in Cooperstown, NY. I want to get a boat and get a little closer, unfortunately all the leaves are gone for the season.

very nice pastel colors on the bg...I think this castle need little sharpening and i think that this shot will work better with a castle close to left or right side of the picture...

I agree with Denis...

re the centrality of the castle...a crop, preferably from the left, where the color is not so attractive would improve this image compositionally.

Personally, I like the painterly effect, though, and think it adds to the seasonal colors nicely...maybe next year you can catch that boat...:o)

Interesting subject

...nice colors, but appears to be a bit soft focus. However, still very pleasing to view. Not sure, but tower might appear to lean oh so slightly left... might just be me though.

thank you

I agree, I think placing the Tower in the left of the photograph is an improvement. Thank oyu for the comments.

Hi Dan, the leaves are a little soft for me but this is a gem of a subject and composition.

Lovely colors. It does look a little soft to me.
