NO SUBJECT
I like the same things you like about this image, Robert. But it's only 1/3 of the image and the rest is far less interesting and attractive, so it becomes a distraction from the good stuff. You might be able to crop this down to include only the bottom, but there'll be lots of image degradation because you'll have so few pixels left. Still, might be worth a try. Lesson for next time!

I like those reflections in the dark water too. I also like the graphics of the full mast in the sky and reflected in the water and the contrast the different blues. So I am not sure that I would like a crop better.

Thanks Frank. This photo actually won a merit in a Gisborne photo competetition judged in Gamagori, Japan (a sister city to Gisborne)
