Unfortunately I didn't get the view of the clowns shoes, or the expressions on the childrens faces, that I was hoping for.

Some of the the children look obviously distracted by me, but I checked on some other shots, from a more discrete angle, and the two girls were still gazing downwards.

An interesting composition. Too bad they are not all looking up at the clown, but it is still an enjoyable picture.

I quite like this too and wonder what the womans photo looks like with you lying on the grass!

A good fun photo I think.

Best wishes- Andy

Great one, Chris. A unique perspective that made me smile.

Thanks guys!

Nice to know that a clown can amuse people without actually being seen.

This was at a cycling rally and I'm under the impression that he travels around with only the props that he can carry on his bicycle (though I suspect he has a trailer). He was doing a Punch & Judy Routine (will that need explaining?) but instead of the normal tent he just had a kind of extended smock.

I didn't get long to catch the right expressions as my wife was in the audience with my 2yr old grandauhter and she soon signalled that she'd had enough. My grandaughter wasn't fussed either :0)

Nothing much I can add...

...except to say 'good on you, Chris, for trying a different view'. regards.
