Technically...

this is up to your usual standard, Denis. However, I can't find enough interest in the subject or composition to hold me. I think that I want to see the rock rise just a little above the horizon to improve the sense of depth in the scene. A small 'bump' of rock above the horizon would 'talk' across the sea to the lighthouse.

NO SUBJECT

Hi Denis, I agree with Rob about bumping the rock above the horizon. Either that or a different composition with the rock holding up the horizon, if you know what I mean! Certain elements of the pic do work - you are led up to the lighthouse by the folds of teh rocks, but as Rob said there isn't enough there to hold your attention for long. The lighting on the foreground rocks is just a little too flat for me. A harsh mark, mainly because you have so many bloody good pictures on this site.

Best wishes- Andy

NO SUBJECT

I love the tonality of the picture as a whole and the light on the rocks. I also like the way the diagonal line of the rocks creates a triangle with the water. The textures are very nice too.
