It's very good, Danny; the mix of colours, composition and DOF. The main subject stands out dramatically.

I like the composition, especially the depth of field and contrast that separate the fungus and foreground from the rest of the picture.

Thierry, I'm not sure about the sharpness. Having looked at the other photos I took of these fungi - there were dozens of clusters like this one - I think the slightly translucent fungi are just naturally a little "soft". (I tried more USM, but that looked a bit unnatural to me.)
In retrospect I might have shot at ISO 200 instead of 400, but I was in an unnatural position with my head jammed into the ground, so I was a bit worried about camera shake (and a bit distracted).
